Update March 2007 - The Green Buck-IT© beta test version for IvyTekPDQ has been completed and is now in the maintenance phase.  The IvyTek Finance version is in the beta test stage.  Other internet applications are in the development phase.

What's in the Green Buck-IT?  (IvyTek News, Fall 2006)

What’s in the Green Buck-IT©? Users can decide! IvyTek is building a foundation for our future products and you are invited to get in on the ground floor. We are proud to announce Mike and Jason are devoting their time to develop an automated home office report consolidation module for our applications. The beta test version is due to be installed by September 30th.

The Green Buck-IT© will utilize the Windows.Net (pronounced dot.net) architecture and will form the core for our future internet based products. Managers and owners will appreciate the ease of use, convenience and security of having all their data at a single location and the analytical possibilities afforded them with consolidated information only a click away. Gain valuable insights as to why one location is more profitable than another. Quickly isolate potential problems. Easily view relationships between average loan amounts, payment sizes, terms and delinquency rates to improve your bottom line. Use the Green Buck-IT© to monitor your operations, your way.

How it Works

Using an automated FTP backup process and notification routine, each remote location will push the required data sets to the Green Buck-IT© software located on the customer’s home office server. The increments of data transfer will be defined by the user. The user is notified the data has safely been transferred via a communications status panel. The user can then view the data for either a single location or run consolidated reports.

Data sets transferred include: total outstanding, loans, payments, delinquency, drawers and check book activity and the batch balance report. The user can filter the reports by special codes and choose specific reporting periods. The user will also have the ability to set user defined global settings and the default display for the main menu. The Green Buck-IT© also provides an excellent vehicle for business continuance by maintaining a remote backup of critical data.

System Requirements

The home office location must have the following hardware installed in order to provide communications and data functions:

1) A computer capable of running either Windows 2000 or Windows XP Professional operation systems with the latest security updates and the .Net Framework ver. 1.1 installed.

2) A router with remote administration, port forwarding and firewall capabilities (most routers have these basic functions).

3) A Static IP address at the home office.

Companies interested in getting in on the development phase of the product should immediately contact IvyTek. Beta test users meet from time to time with IvyTek to provide input and suggestions as to the current and future functionality of the product. Once the beta test phase of the product is complete, modifications fall under our annual maintenance plan.

Included in the price of the product are on-site installation, one hour of training for personnel at the remote location and four hours training for home office personnel in the use of the Green Buck-IT© and FTP software applications.
